According to an urgent report from the Vietnam Maritime Administration, as Typhoon No. 3 made landfall, the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre, under the Vietnam Maritime Administration, dispatched the SAR 412 rescue vessel from Da Nang, coordinating with SAR 411 from Hai Phong, to carry out rescue operations.
So far, SAR 412 has successfully assisted 13 crew members from the vessel Bach Dang 01 and worked with other agencies to rescue 12 crew members from the Minh Anh 03 safely.
Additionally, SAR 412 collaborated with authorities to rescue seven people aboard the crane vessel Tien Thanh 05, which had drifted and become stranded in Vung Duc, Cam Pha. It also coordinated with the Border Defense Force to successfully rescue four crew members from the river transport vessel HY-0496.
