Vietnam MRCC (the Centre) joins hands to support recovery after the Typhoon No. 3 (YAGI) in the Northern highland provinces

In recent days, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3, prolonged heavy rains have caused the northern highland provinces to be submerged in floodwaters. The floods have left many people dead and missing, many houses were flooded and landslides occurred, many families were separated, people in some areas were completely isolated, and food and clean water were running out.

Promoting the spirit of humanity, mutual love, sharing, living responsibly with the community, helping people in the northern highland provinces in the areas affected by floods, on September 11th, 2024, the representative of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, Mr. Bui Van Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, General Director of the Vietnam MRCC led a delegation to support overcoming the consequences of the Typhoon No. 3 (YAGI) in the northern highland provinces.

The delegation included representatives of the Centre's Trade Union, the Centre's Youth Union and the Haiphong MRCC. They presented Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union 50 life buoys, 10 life rafts, 50 flashlights; presented Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union 50 life buoys, 8 life rafts, 50 flashlights. Besides that, they also presented many foods, necessities, and necessary tools.

Youth Union of the Centre and the Haiphong MRCC transport relief goods to Yen Bai Province

The Centre's delegation is ready to deliver relief goods to the Northern highland provinces.

Relief goods have been delivered to the gathering point at Yen Bai Province.

Mr. Bui Van Minh, a member of the Party Committee of Vietnam Maritime Administration, General Director of Vietnam MRCC and the delegation presented relief goods to Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union.

On the same day, another delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Deputy General Director of the Centre, provided relief to people affected by floods in Thai Nguyen Province. The delegation transported and handed over to the Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front at Dai Tu District (Thai Nguyen Province) 400 life buoys; 20 life rafts along with many foods, necessities, and necessary tools.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Deputy General Director of the Centre, presented relief goods to the Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front in Dai Tu District (Thai Nguyen Province).
