From September 29th 2023 to September 30th 2023, Vungtau MRCC (Regional III Centre) coordinated to perform fishermen training program in Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province. This operation was organized by the Coast Guard Region 3 Command in coordination with local authorities including the District Party Committee, People's Committee, Police, Border Guard, and Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.
Vungtau MRCC coordinated with the Coast Guard Region 3 Command to provide propaganda and comprehensive training on maritime legal regulations, distress reporting skills, and the use of life-saving equipment in case of incidents or accidents at sea. These measures can significantly reduce accidents and damage to people and property. Vungtau MRCC also demonstrated the readiness of the search and rescue forces to provide assistance when incidents occur, ensuring the safety and security of fishermen, giving them peace of mind while fishing.
